With 20 years of experience in the business, finance, and tax industries, I am well-equipped to assist clients in achieving their goals.
Education
I hold a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton.
Designation
As an Enrolled Agent, I hold the highest credential awarded by the IRS for preparing taxes and representing taxpayers. I do not work for the IRS, but I am committed to supporting pro-small business initiatives.
Industry Experience
I have successfully served clients across various sectors, including law, restaurants, construction, real estate, and manufacturing.
Civic Service
I served as Treasurer for the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2022, where I also volunteered my time.
Leisure
When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, actively attending my church, and studying theology.
Julia Carlos
I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, specializing in business management with a concentration in Legal Studies Management.
Back in 2004, I met Rene in one of our business classes. It didn't take long for us to realize we were meant for one another. After several years together, marriage, and starting a family, we recognized that our partnership extended beyond personal life into the professional realm. Together, we founded Summit Tax & Accounting Advisors, where we identified a need for effective tax strategies and financial strategies tailored to our clients. Our skills complement each other perfectly, and we share the same goals of serving others using our unique gifts and talents.
Outside of work, you will often find us at church or enjoying time together at the ice skating rink.
